During the Board's March 2014 work session meeting, Methacton's then Director of Business Services, Stuart Whiteleather, demonstrated a spreadsheet for the Board that allows users to introduce varied tax increases and see the resulting effect on future anticipated budgetary shortfalls. The district encourages our community to use the spreadsheet in order to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges the Board and administration face in overcoming the challenges that come with developing a budget for the coming school year, while looking to the future.
